Guiding people is key to success, yet it is sometimes forgotten at the expense of dropping performance.
Remember you hire people for those tasks that cannot be automated and / or that require intelligence, judgement, communication, etc.
It starts with your engineering and sales team … they speak to customers, obtain requirements, discuss and seek agreement and ultimately close the deal.
Further down the fulfillment cycle, your operations team, but also warehousing and logistics, must understand and communicate customer needs … without a good view of requirements and customer expectation, things will not be good at all.
At the end … even if business was captured and fulfilled, it can only be a continuous ongoing and solid scheme if people know what to do, when, how, why, etc.
Guide your people, it makes them comfortable and quality assured.
